Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 11, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how ArchiLoopa uses them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit — such as your preferred language, login state, or analytics identifiers — which can make your next visit easier. We also use similar technologies like localStorage and pixels, which behave the same way for the purposes of this policy.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required to run the site: authentication, session security, CSRF protection, load balancing, and cookie-consent preferences. These cannot be turned off.
Examples: sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token, archiloopa_consent. Duration: session to 12 months.
Functional
Remember preferences such as theme, language, and previously viewed library items. Not strictly required, but improve your experience.
Examples: theme, locale. Duration: up to 12 months.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, where people get stuck, how new content performs. Data is aggregated and pseudonymised; we do not use it to identify individual users.
Examples: page views, referrer, device type, approximate region. Duration: up to 24 months.
Marketing
Only set if you opt in. Used to measure the performance of campaigns and to show relevant ArchiLoopa content on other sites. We do not sell your data to advertisers.
Duration: up to 12 months.
3. Consent
When you first visit ArchiLoopa, a banner asks whether you accept optional cookies (functional, analytics, marketing). Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Your choice is stored for 12 months and you can change it at any time from the link below or by clearing your browser storage.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also accept, refuse, or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site (e.g. login or checkout).
5. Do Not Track
Where your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to disable analytics and marketing cookies for that session.
6. Third parties
Some cookies are set by trusted third parties we use to run the service — for example our hosting provider, payment processor, and video player. Their use of cookies is governed by their own policies.
7. Updates
We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be announced via the consent banner or a prominent site notice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
8. Manage your preferences
You can review or change your cookie choices at any time:
